The project has committed to the restoration, reconciliation and well being of multi-cultural urban families in the Dar es salaam particularly in Temeke and Kinondoni district, by providing easily accessible, holistic human services so as to build healthier family and productive society.
The main objectives of the project among others are:-
• To empower individuals to lead stable and responsible lives,
• To provide positive intervention within the family structure and
• To bridge the gap between basic physical emotional, and spiritual needs with available resources in our community.
Activities to be conducted:
Some of activities to be carried out will include:-
• Parent training and family enrichment courses
FAMILY PRESERVATION
• Intensive support and mentor services to at-risk families and families challenged by HIV/AIDS, violence, poverty, unemployment etc
• Counseling services.
LIFE SKILLS TRAINING – This entails the teaching of coping skills, such as self-esteem, assertiveness, decision-making capacities and coping with depression, death and handling pressure among other things.
PLAY THERAPY – the younger children receive play and recreation therapy whereby they can learn to cope with their past, come to forgive and learn to laugh again.

Duration of the project
This is 4 years project with two phases starting September 2010. Phase one will last for two and half years and the second phase will last for one and half year.
